PU is a material that is extremely tough, light and flexible and is moulded to form internal batons or a protective outer shell around WoofWear neoprene boots. It gives the vulnerable areas (such as the tendon or fetlock) extra protection against strike injury and is completely shatter resistant.

Recessed Stitching. WoofWear were the first to use recessed stitching on the striking pad. It significantly reduces wear to the stitching and helps to prolong boot life.

Anti Spin Device. Conventional overreach boots can spin around the hoof when the horse is moving. Woof Wear designers have researched solutions to this problem. The result is an anti-spin device that locates snugly into the back of the heel and gives the horse greater protection from overreach injuries.
