Impaired function of the skeletal joints due to age, injury or stress can dramatically reduce joint flexion movement and mobility. Cartilage and synovial fluid are the foundation for optimal functioning of the hip, shoulders and elbows. STRIDE Powder is a complementary feedingstuff for the nutritional maintenance of healthy cartilage and joints in dogs.
Every 10g of STRIDE Powder contains:-
Glucosamine HCl 1,080 mg, Chondroitin Sulphate 240 mg, Methylsulfonylmethane 2,000 mg, Manganese Sulphate 76 mg & Vitamin C 48 mg.
Glucosamine HCl enhances the level of glycosaminoglycans (GAG’S) in the joint. These GAG’S are the ‘building blocks’ in the cartilage matrix. Glucosamine HCl will increase the Hyaluronate content in the joint. Hyaluronate is a fundamental component of Synovial fluid – the joint lubricant.
Chondroitin Sulphate is a natural ‘water magnet’ in the joint. Adequate amounts of Chondroitin Sulphate enable the joint to withstand constant compression and concussion. Chondroitin Sulphate also inhibits the ‘cartilage chewing’ enzymes that are present in damaged joints.
MSM is a source of bioavailable sulphur. Sulphur is needed for the synthesis of connective tissue. Therefore MSM can be seen as a co-factor of Glucosamine HCl and Chondroitin Sulphate in the repair of the cartilage matrix.
Feeding Guide:
STRIDE Powder is a powder feed supplement which can be mixed into your dogs daily feed.
To begin...
Small dogs (Up to 5 kg): 2.5g daily for 30 days.
Medium dogs (5kg to 15kg): 5g daily for 30 days.
Large dogs (15kg to 30kg): 10g daily for 30 days.
Very Large dogs (Over 30kgs): 15g daily for 30 days.
For longer term use, feed STRIDE Powder at half the above quantities.
A measuring scoop is enclosed in each pack, a very heaped scoop measures out approximately 10g of powder.
