A heavy Iron is easier for a rider to relocate should their foot fall out and a wide, high, iron gives the boot clearance in the case of a fall, reducing the risk of the iron catching, with potentially serious consequences.

Stubben Fillis Stirrup Irons Original No Offset are made using a 'lost wax' production technique, to ensure the Irons are burr free and thereby avoid the posibility of hurting horse or rider. To assist authenticity, each Iron has the Stubben logo etched on and are supplied with rubber pads.
